My trip to Tanzania last summer( August 2025) was amazing, a once in a lifetime experience.
I saw the most beautiful landscapes of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro, spotted the big five met a lot of very friendly locals and there was of course our guide and driver for two weeks: Ismail....
He was the one that brought us, thanks to his superb driving skills, everywhere there was someting to see and we were always on "the first row"
I will never forget the crossing of the wildebeest which, thank to him we were able to experience twice at close distance
If ever I am visiting Tanzania again it will be with Ismail!!!!

For me, the trip to Tanzania was beyond fantastic. I enjoyed every minute and thought the safari was beautiful. Everything was incredibly well-organized, and Ismail told me all about the area and the wildlife. It was a truly special experience. This was the second time I went on a safari with Ismail. This time, I was able to indicate what was important to me, namely the Great Migration and some cultural experiences as well. My preference to sleep in safari tents was also taken in account. The accommodations were excellent, clearly chosen with care. Ismail had created a program where we dedicated 3 days to witness the crossing of thousands of wildebeests and zebras. Very spectacular!! Last year we visited the Maasai, this time the Hadzabe tribe. Another very interesting and educational day. These were weeks that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thanks to Ismail, who practices his profession with his heart.

This year we had our second safari with Ismail
We had the luck to see the crossings of the Wildebeest in the North Serengeti two times in three days. A truly magical and very moving experience. But honestly it wasn't exactly the luck but the experience of Ismail, our driver and guide for the second time, that made this possible. A word of advice if you're about to plan a safari: choose your guide very carefully, he makes or breaks your journey. With Ismail you can’t go wrong, he is born for this job and does it with hart and soul. He knows every place and aspect of the Serengeti and while driving you around he will entertain you with interesting stories about the nature or the local culture and makes sure you're comfortable and safe at all times as he cares for the tourists who put their trust in him. This is not just a job for him, it is his way of living.
One way or another you will always find yourself at the first row under his surveillance, Ismail manages to achieve this with respect for nature and the locals which unfortunately cannot be said of all guides. Most important I'll never forget his open mind and warmth. If we ever would return for the third time we go with Summa Tanzania Adventure, sure he will be our guide again. He is my “Kaka” (brother)
