                                                           5 Days Budget Camping Safari

Featuring the beautiful Lake Manyara, the world-famous Serengeti, and the impressive Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its unsurpassed crater as a finale, this five-day safari around Tanzania's stunning Northern Circuit offers an excellent introduction and insight into the incredible landscapes and wildlife of our country.

Day 1:

Welcome to Tanzania, says our guide when he comes to pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport. He will take you to your accommodation in Arusha where you can recover from a long journey.

Day 2:

After breakfast, you will have a safari briefing. On the way from Arusha, your eyes will be opened to all the colors and the character of Tanzania: you might even see a few Maasai herders driving their herds of goats to new pastures. You will meet your guide, who is amazed by his profound knowledge and effortlessly answers all your questions. The highlight of the day is your safari in the stunning Lake Manyara, with the Rift Valley escarpment and the lake itself as beautiful, natural backdrops. After lunch, we will get into our vehicle to explore the highlights of this park. Against the rugged Rift Valley escarpment, characterized by the shimmering lake, Manyara is rich in vegetation and wildlife that thrive here.

In the evening, you sleep at a campsite located on the edge of the bustling town of Mto wa Mbu, home to a mix of Tanzania's colorful tribes. The camping has spacious camping facilities with a grassy field for the tents. There is a bar, restaurant, shop, and souvenir shop on the site. Campers can use the pleasant swimming pool. There are toilets and washing facilities, and access to Wi-Fi.

Day 3:

We leave Lake Manyara behind us and head towards the Serengeti. Along the way, you can ask your driver-guide questions about all aspects of Tanzanian culture, traditions, tribes, and of course, nature. Consider him a 'walking encyclopedia' – his answers will rarely disappoint you! Upon arrival, we will have lunch before starting our afternoon safari.

We have now been staying in the Serengeti for 2 days. The vast expanse, as the plains roll out before you to infinity, will fill you with a sense of awe.

In the Serengeti, every turn is a new experience. Take a few memorable photos, but above all, don't forget to take a deep breath and enjoy nature in all its pure beauty.

Tonight we sleep in Central Serengeti. A campsite where you can listen to the sounds of the animals at night and enjoy the star-studded African sky – a true Tanzanian adventure!

Day 4:

Today, for the first time, we get a glimpse of the spectacular, unparalleled Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and the heart of the eponymous protected area.

There is no safari wilderness with such a high density of wildlife as the Ngorongoro Crater! On the crater floor, you can search for rhinos, predators, hoofed animals, and colorful birds. And in April and May, this fertile caldera is especially beautiful! With a bit of luck, the pink flamingos can be found on the lake with the deep green crater walls in the background! A truly magnificent sight…

In the evening, we will go to our campsite. Above all, don't forget that the campsite is at an altitude of 2300 meters (7546 feet). It can get very cold at night, so warm clothing is absolutely necessary here!

Day 5:

Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater From our accommodation, we depart after breakfast at to reach the rim and then descend into the expansive crater itself. On one side lies the Lerai Forest, a classic mountain forest landscape with almost tropical characteristics. This is an excellent elephant area, so keep your eyes open.

In the crater there are approximately 120 lions, 15,000 wildebeests, 9,000 zebras, 400 hyenas, and about 50 black rhinoceroses. Many wildebeests and other herd animals are present here and benefit from the numerous water sources that are available year-round and are supplemented seasonally by some migratory birds. Buffaloes, Thomson's gazelles, and elands are also present in large numbers. Hippos can be found in pools and marshes, and highland birds are colorful and abundant around the water. Flamingos are often seen in Lake Magadi, which covers part of the crater floor.

In the evening, we will take you back to Kilimanjaro Airport, where you can catch your flight home. You will return home with a suitcase full of wonderful memories.

After this amazing trip, you can extend your holiday in, for example, Zanzibar. We would be happy to provide you with information about that.
